Rates

I have a sliding fee scale. Pay will be based on your ability to do so.

Fee Range: $80-$50 per session. I accept cash, checks or credit cards. Credit card payments require a $2 service charge.

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO (not the HMO), the Wellpoint (Anthem) Behavioral Health EAP, and Tricare.

A typical session is 45-55 minutes in length.

Phone Sessions and Case Management Services: $25 per half hour

Sometimes you need a check in over the phone, which is perfectly acceptable. Also, some clients need various services such as letter writing or research. If these charges should occur, we will discuss them in advance.

Cancellation Policy

There is no charge for appointment cancellation more than 24 hours in advance. If you fail to appear for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the highest session price.

The length of therapy will be determined jointly between us. You decide when therapy is over.

A note for folks looking for “the letter” regarding hormone treatments:

I am quite happy to write a letter for a doctor regarding hormone treatments. Because the Standards of Care have various specific requirements for readiness, I am forced to pass those requirements on to you. To that end I am now requiring a minimum of four visits over a three month period before I can write “the letter.” Session time will be used to review the standards of care and make sure you are comfortable with the requirements presented there (including three months of “actively living as the desired gender”), so I can pass that information on to your doctor.
